Port Orient Restaurant & Bar
“This venue has it all. The exotic Port Orient is the latest addition to Harbouside’s dynamic restaurant scene”.
The latest addition to Harbourside’s dynamic restaurant scene is the exotic Port Orient Entertainment Restaurant and Bar Lounge, with five areas to cater for different interests and group sizes, including two balconies for outdoor dining and cigar lounge.
Owner Ray Chan is no stranger to Sydney’s restaurant scene, having previously operated the Ocean Emperor for 12 years. He’s now dishing up some of the finest modern Asian cuisine in Sydney along with live entertainment every night.
With hot salsa parties on Friday and Sunday (including lessons) and karaoke every night, there’s plenty of enjoyment to be had while taking in the magnificent views of the Sydney city skyline.
Port Orient provides a new concept of interactive entertainment, such as macarina, limbo rock competition, Zorba the Greek, chicken dance and hokey pokey.
This new venue has it all: the menu ranges form home-style Cantonese cooking to imperial banquets and décor and interactive entertainment cater for any occasion – the romantic dinner, the quick bite, the function (they’re popular for hen’s nights) and the relaxing drink while you admire the city lights. There are five different zones – outdoor balcony; dining indoors with soft live music; a mezzanine level with views across the water to the city skyline.
